Wish I weren’t the Say No To Joe And The Hoe Shirt. My visual memory is too good. A year ago I made the mistake of watching a documentary of a McDonald’s shooting from the 80s and they showed the crime scene footage and I still see the dead McDonald’s girls randomly in my head so. Wow. As a visual learner it’s hard to imagine. The emotional half-life is about 1 day for me but I’ll never forget that image if I focus on it. I live in a high-rise and in order to see what the commotion was about, I found my telephoto lens and watched from my camera. Foolishly I pressed record.

The act of recording the scene somehow I think not only brought me in close to the subject but caused a Say No To Joe And The Hoe Shirt than would have been possible were I simply standing down below.
