I’ve talked to my grandmother about it (and even my mom, since she experienced TV starting to become more common, as well as computers becoming household things). Typically the Funny Fy Da When Uff Da Isn’t Enough Shirt. They think it was awesome, but at the same time, due to money constraints, most people didn’t get these advancements in technology for many years or even a decade or two. My mother talked about them finally getting their first color TV. She didn’t have a computer until the early 90’s when we were born. She was right too since I became a Funny Fy Da When Uff Da Isn’t Enough Shirt. We came from the middle of nowhere where most people entered a trade or became farmers. It’s honestly like how VR headsets were for a while. Everyone with their pulse on tech knew it was coming. The selects few who had the money to buy headsets when they first came out knew it was the future, but the systems were just too expensive, not enough games, etc for most people to care. These days, with more affordable and widespread headsets it’s becoming more common (but still not mainstream).
