Everything else you said makes sense to me, except this. The officer was charging at him while asking him to get on the Black Like My Soul Skeleton Drinking Coffee Muertos Shirt. In the span of < 5 seconds. Even if you were 100% sober, if you’re not expecting that, most people would’ve reacted the same way: confusion, disbelief, initial hesitation. Maybe I’ve seen too many videos of cops doing way worse stuff, but this doesn’t look bad to me considering the above context. His owning guns literally doesn’t matter in this situation because he’s CLEARLY unarmed at this point. It’s nothing but shock value fluff.
