In the span of < 5 seconds. Even if you were 100% sober, if you’re not expecting that, most people would’ve reacted the same way: confusion, disbelief, initial hesitation. Maybe I’ve seen too many videos of cops doing way worse stuff, but this doesn’t look bad to me considering the above context.
