I think she is telling our family a lie about what happened to make herself the victim. She is kind of known for this kind of thing. I’m always baffled when folks don’t think to defend. They themselves or tell the whole story and allow others to bully them for their response. I really hope they take this advice. I think it gets to be exhausting to always have to explain things, especially when everyone else is so quick to defend the jerk sibling/parent/friend/whatever. Someone is known to lie and play the victim, people still believe them for whatever reason. Misguided notions of “family”, I suppose, or just being stupid/gullible.
