The movie was filmed in concentration camps. They knew exactly what they were doing. I wasn’t aware of this can you please explain. Nah. I went in doing exactly that, as I knew it would be nothing like the Good And Yet Despite The Look On My Face You’re Still Talking Shirt. It doesn’t hold up as a film in any way. Not really. As everyone seems completely unskilled in any martial arts. But they do have that low budget, floating about on strings vibe in places. You know what I mean. You can’t see the strings. But you can -see- the strings. Even this didn’t save it. Was a wasted 2 hours that felt like 30 minutes of content.

All fo which was Mulan just solving everything without breaking a Good And Yet Despite The Look On My Face You’re Still Talking Shirt. And literally, not a single another person in that entire film was needed. Mulan could have fought a wooden stick at the end and I’d have come away with the same experience. So basically pirate it. The director sucked and doesn’t know how to film action. She took Donnie Yen, master martial artist, and cut up his sword routine, like he’s some 70-year-old Liam Neeson, to the point you can’t see. He never gets to legit throw down.
