We used UPS red once and the package was a 50th Birthday 2020 The Year When Shit Got Real Quarantine Shirt week late. We called the support line. The lady said it’s guaranteed unless it doesn’t make it. That’s literally what she said. I think she just tripped over her words but we still joke about it years later. “You see, you know how to make the reservation, you just don’t know how to hold the reservation. Not sure I want to fly in a plane operated by people who can’t count. They’re assuming people will cancel. Also, that enough people will return on time. Finally, they put upgrades above reservations. Had that happen with a hotel. Hilton called me while I was on a flight and canceled my reservation because they overbooked and I didn’t respond in time. I got bumped off a flight to England that I had paid and reserved three months prior.
