I think people have all sorts Happy Steelers Alabama Crimsontide It’s In My DNA Heart Fingerprints Shirts of reasons. For me in particular, I’m a major doormat and a pushover. I’ve always had trouble standing up for myself or “making waves” if I could avoid it. Confrontation and conflict make me nauseous. When/if someone yells at me I can’t even look at them while they do it. When I’d get in trouble as a kid and a teen my mom would let me face the wall while she punished me so that I didn’t have to look at her while she scolded me. It’s one trait that therapy still hasn’t managed to break me off, the sheer terror of any sort of conflict/confrontation. I never ever stand up for myself.
