Makes me appreciate how lucky I have been with employment. My college program had paid co-op terms, I was hired by my last co-op right after I graduated. Before I started to apply for a different position in my field. Applied for 1 and didn’t get it but the process was pretty painless. The current meta is to just blast out as many resumes as possible. It took me 3 months of applying to positions every day, it got to the point where I was grateful if I even heard back from them. Somehow randomly lucked out and got a super cozy IT job where I get to shitpost on Reddit and play on my phone all day – no prior experience other than retail.
